DKM Manufacturing is at it again. We’ve made a few changes with a new Affordable American Containers Website (for the better, we think)!
Improved Request for Quote Process
We have studied the data and performance of our site. We considered our quoting process. With that information in mind, we determined a few improvements were in order:
- More Information – The request forms are now more robust. We found that we were not getting all the information necessary to provide quotes quickly. So, we identified key information that was missing and added those items to our form. Type of location, if a forklift is available and if you need a freight quote are good examples. Knowing this information up front helps us to consider best way to palletize. In addition, we know what information should be included in your quote.
- Drop Down Options – We now list our bucket and lid sizes in a drop down on our form. For 2026, we have refined the drop downs to display only the available colors for each size of bucket. Less typing is required for you to select option.
- Lids? We now have fewer steps on our request form for ordering the same size and color lids as your buckets. Instead of re-entering the same information, you select yes to same size and color, and enter the volume needed. If you want a different color, then we have made a lids section available for you to select the options for a different color lid.
- Accessibility of Quote Form – Access the quote request form in the navigation, or use the side button.
Now, requesting a quote takes a few simple steps:
- Determine bucket size and color. (Browse the site, check out our product pages…)
- Open the Request Quote Page OR use the Request Quote button on the right side of the page.
- Complete the form and select SEND.
- If you have provided details like shipping location, number of buckets etc. we have enough to send you a quote. If not, then we will probably give you a quick call!
Refreshed Catalog Page
We wanted a cleaner, easier-to-view catalog page and now we have that! In addition to being easier on the eyes, the page provides more information for each bucket, container or lid. Our Request Quote button is easily accessible on the right side of each product page to send us your request.
Benefits of the Redesigned Product Pages
We realized it was difficult to compare pricing of colors on our old site. We modified our product pages to give you some key information:
- Let you know if lids are available for this size bucket.
- Specifications for each bucket, container or lid.
- Spec Sheets are more visible and easy to find, if available. You can open the pdf and view the data or download the pdf.
- All colors and pricing of the bucket size are included on the same page. This enables easy comparison between bucket colors and volumes. We even have our Blem pricing right there with the colors.
